Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@awgreekshop.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: [INSERT RETURN ADDRESS]

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

At A&W Greek Shop, we take pride in the quality of our merchandise and the satisfaction of our customers. Please read our return and exchange policy carefully before placing an order.

All Sales Are Final on Customized Items

Due to the made-to-order nature of our products—especially those featuring Greek letters, licensed insignia, personalized embroidery, or custom designs—all sales are final on customized and special-order items. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on these items once production has begun.

Eligible Items for Return or Exchange

If you received a non-custom item and are not satisfied with your purchase, we may accept a return or exchange if the item meets the following conditions:

  • Item is unused, unworn, and in its original packaging

  • Return is requested within 7 days of delivery

  • Return is shipped within 14 days of delivery

  • Item is not marked as final sale, clearance, or discontinued

To initiate a return, contact us at contact@awgreekshop.com with your order number and a brief explanation. We will respond with instructions.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us within 3 business days of delivery.

To help us process your claim quickly, email the following to contact@awgreekshop.com:

  • Your order number

  • A clear photo of the damaged or incorrect item

  • A brief description of the issue

We will gladly send a replacement or issue store credit once the claim is verified.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Gift cards

  • Clearance or final sale items

  • Worn, washed, or altered merchandise

  • Items returned after 14 days of delivery

Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect due to our error. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

If a refund is approved, it will be applied to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after we receive the return.

Important Notes

  • Please retain tracking information for your return shipment—we are not responsible for lost or delayed return packages.

  • Returned items that do not meet the above conditions will be sent back at the customer’s expense or discarded after 30 days.
